Think Pink

   Just completed this luminous pink rose.  Pink reminds me of blushing cheeks, cat noses, cotton candy from the circus, Mary Kay, sunrise, taffy in the summer, grandmother's jelly foam, lipstick and innocence.  What a healing color to gaze upon.  Have some tea and think of beautiful summer roses.

January Rose

   Happy New Year to all.  May it be as simple and gentle as a blooming white rose.  Quiet, soft , beautiful and healing.   If one can enjoy the bloom and the warm fragrant scent just  for an instant,  it is a gift and a memory forever.

Color Energy

Everything emits energy.  Being an artist and highly sensitive allows me to sense the different levels of energy that come from different things.    Look at this beaming sunflower from my garden.  Doesn't it just energize you with the intense and glowing golden yellow ?  Yellow is such an energizing and stimulating color.  Can't you just feel the sunflower's rays of energy  making you smile?  What feeling do you get when you see yellow?  I remember my Hungarian Grandfather shouting at everyone for not cutting the stick of golden yellow butter on the table the correct way.  He loved it's beauty and felt that it was disrespectful to not cut it properly.  We tried so hard to hide our chuckles as he bellowed and scared us witless.
